What makes you better than everyone else?

Although I appreciate your thoughts, I don't think you get my point. I absolutely hate being judged by other people. In my life I've known damned few people who've loved me for myself. Everyone else I've known, including my own family, seems to grant love and approval on a merit system. It feels like I have to be perfect, or at least be someone else, to be worthy of their love and approval.

I'm just in a crappy mood today because my wife and I just buried one of her close relatives.

Tonio, you missed the point of my post which is no one is ever truly "perfect", the grass is never "really greener", you can't please everyone, and you can't have everything. You have issues, seek help. It would really do you good.

Saying things like this will only bring more "chipping". People who really want to be left alone, stay alone. You're not alone here. You're posting on a public forum. No different than school or work. Not everyone is going to like you. The closer the proximity, the more likely you are to hear about it.

Boo flippin hoo. I can guaranflippinteeya that every single person on this earth has had many people be mean and rude to them. You can either wallow in it or get some inner gumption and take a real hard look at yourself and choose to like what you see and move on with it or spend the rest of your life whining because you need other people to validate your own self worth. :shrug:
