What no tiki bar thread?

BadGirl

I am so very blessed
One year I made close to $400 (in profit) in selling beads in just under 3 hours, right in front of Solomon's Pier. The easiest money I ever made. Silly (read: drunk) people will buy just about anything.....

Have fun freezing your arse off for an overpriced drink in a crowd full of drunk imports from D.C. :killingme

Quiet Sundays over there can be nice but opening day has become an absolute freakin zoo. IMOand I am entitled to one

I am not being a grump. and yes I am an experienced opening day person..You have fun, I like it the way it was, smaller, less imports, less trouble and alot of fun. Dress warm, it'll be as cold as the year I fell and dislocated my shoulder...LOL
I still adore closing day :diva: alot of fun

Common sense prevails. I went to one opening years ago and have not gone since. Last year there were thousands down in Solomons. Kept the cops busy all night long. No thankyou. It's not worth the hassel when I can go next weekend and have a good time.

I agree and I don't like how it is now because I appreciate the way it WAS. Roads didn't have to be blocked, people were a kinder, friendlier opening, you could get a drink in minutes and I do like quiet Sundays there. Everyone just be safe. Too many loonies out there tomorrow.
