They opened for the Steve Miller Band and The Eagles on the Hotel California tour. I saw them in think it was 1977 at the old Metropolitan Stadium in Minneapolis.
After he heard that, and thought about Johnny's interpretation, Trent Reznor said it was no longer his song.
Saw them along with Ted Nugent and another UK band, Widowmaker, at the Springfield, MA Civic Center in June 1977.
One of my favorite oldies!! (...and I also sang this at Karaoke once! So much fun!)
Seems strange seeing a motorcycle gang singing a couple’s dance song.
