I was watching the Johnny Cash Music Festival on WHUT television when Rosanne Cash introduced her version of the Tennessee Flat Top Box. She had come across some version of it, and decided to record it, without knowing that her father had written it in 1961. It went to number one for her in 1988. It always delighted Johnny that his daughter had had success with one of his songs without knowing it was his song.
