Don't ask me how I got from Cher to Iron Butterfly (not posted) to Bonsoir Catin (Goodnight Ladies, or Goodnight Dolls), but here we are. I really like Kristi Guillory's (on squeezebox) voice on the second song "Alberta."

By the way, if you listen to this, notice what they do with their voices on the first song. I don't remember the last time I heard anyone achieve an effect that is reminiscent of the blast of a train whistle with their voices; not a group effort, anyway.

This guy did it by himself. The late, great Boxcar Willie.

My brother sent me this a few years back. I used it in a response in another thread. I like it for both the lyrics and the haunting melody. Collide - "the Lunatics have taken over the Asylum"

I've gained a deeper appreciation for George Jones over the years. This one never received a lot of air play, as far as I know, but I could be wrong. I like it, though. "Who's gonna Fill Their Shoes?"

Awesome video.

A cappella

You just don't hear a lot of a cappella these days. I've always liked Alison Krauss' voice.
