I've been expired since last July, call for appt and get told don't worry about it call back laterI'm up for renewal and just discovered that all these years, I've had a Certificate of Live Birth, and not an actual Birth Certificate. I'm screwed.
Thanks. That makes me feel a little better. Should I keep the appointment or cancel and try to reschedule? I need time to visit Richmond to get my actual Birth Cert.

I may be wrong but I don't think you need your actual birth cert, I think there are other ways to prove your identity
I don't think they'll accept my 7D Passport.

I was ridden dirty for 4 months with my expired license over the summer. I made an appointment online, printed the paper and was told to show the officer that if I was stopped. Can you make an appointment online? I went to Waldorf in the fall and was in and out in like 10-15 minutes with my scheduled appointment. My only issue is my picture looks like I'm an apparition. Of course the lady said the camera was working fine before me... I guess I broke it.

We never let anything expire. But that didn’t stop MDOT from flagging a commercial tag wanting F19 proof of continuous insurance. We have never let it lapse in over 25 years but it is still a pain to deal with.
