Why is there so much hype about this flippin' holiday? I want a man that makes me feel loved every damn day. We should not need a day to show someone how much you love them. You should remind them every day.
Ok Ladies.. What the heck do u get a guy for V Day - when he has everything?!?!?! yeah I'ma do a nice dinner and alittle dessert
but as a gift - I'm thinking a gift certificate to like a car place or lowes or something.. he has cologne and all that kinda stuff.. any ideas??
LOL...the guys at work are saying your recommendations are gay, other than the sex and food
I'm not even going to read this whole thread, I'm just going to stop you right here and highlight the important words. Skip the other BS, you already know how to make the man happy.

my hubby and i have been together for over 20 years and with the financial situation changing the way it is....it seems we cannot afford to really go all out but that is fine with us...we became each others valentine 20 years ago...so valentines night we will be sitting side by side in our reclyners watching the big screen..knowing we love each other just as much if not more....

That's my philosophy, too.
I once dated a girl who said V-day was just another day, nothing special. No need to buy candy, cards, etc. We've been married for 11 years.
That's what I believe. It's not another Christmas. I don't want anything. Just spend a little time with me and tell me that you love me.
