They are delicious when roasted with olive oil or bacon. Steamed or boiled are disgusting.

Was going to have an open-faced hot chicken sandwich, but decided on beans and franks (Bushs Homestyle beans with two Nathans hot dogs).

As I was considering what to have, my neighbor brought over a pizza and some cheesy bread.

Ribeye, white rice, and steamed carrots. I thought I'd frozen the steaks, but thankfully I hadn't.

After a year or two of boycotting Outback, we gave them another shot tonight by getting carryout. In the past, carryout had gone rapidly downhill and we swore off Outback. Much to my surprise, everything was great tonight. Wife got a salmon dish and salad, I got shrimp and a salad, both of which were great. Used to swear by their prime rib but that was years ago..and the last time I got it there, it was full of gristle and tough.

Crab dip, fried oysters (senior chief version), hush puppies, cole slaw, Blue Moon to wash it all down and volcano cake for dessert because I'm fairly certain he didn't make me that birthday cake like he promised.
