Some kind of baked pork chop and cream-of-mushroom soup concoction with extra mushrooms and onions. Smells good. I hope it tastes as good.

Since I have been a bit testy and not so happy lately (major back pain and hip issues), I made my husband's favorite: Shepherds pie. Made it early and it is melding in the fridge and will get heated in the oven as some red wine is chilling in the fridge :)

Just sneakin' around....
A nice mixed salad with Russian dressing. Tapped the deep reserve of steaks, found a vintage NY Strip circa September 2020. A real fast hot sear on the grill for a perfect medium rare. Served with stuffed mushroom caps (thanx for the recent suggestions....). Paired it with a vintage July 2021 caffeine free/sugar free Sunkist Orange soda.

I'm making cabbage soup to honor the rainy chilly day.

FYI, it cost me $18 to make a pot of soup that last year cost me $10. Let's Go Brandon!
