To celebrate my birthday, filet mignon to be accompanied by shrimp sautéed in butter and garlic, plus baked potato.

Grandson said, "Grandma, can we have chicken sandwiches again, but can you try to make them crispier?".

Yesterday I threw a $3+ corned beef ($1.69 a pound!) in the crock pot along with some carrots, potatoes and cabbage and let it cook all day. It was excellent and there are plenty of left overs for today and tomorrow! Meat was tender and I sliced off what I wanted with a butter knife!

Haven't gotten to it yet. Last few weeks have been busy with the Nephew moving out, changing things around at the house and a new dog.

I'm gonna pickup a nice size roast this weekend and start the process on Sunday. I've already got most of what I need.
