I made Turkey and Stuffing Roll Ups recently. Tasted so good.Lasagna Roll Ups and I even got a compliment from my husband over them. He didn't believe me that I had made them from scratch. He thought they were store bought and just heated up. Said they looked too perfect and tasted so good. Normally my roll ups look a little wonky because the rolls get off center a little but last night's were perfect. Instead of leaving the noodles in the water and taking one out, putting on the toppings and then rolling them, I got all the noodles out, topped them all and then rolled. I guess the noodles not being so wet made them roll easier and nicer.
Who do you think you are? Popeye??Baked chicken thigh and a whole can of spinach. I'm pretty sure the spinach is the reason I'm up at 215am.![]()
Funny, I was remembering back to childhood and insisted Mommy Dearest get me a can so I could be like "pie pie", as I called him. I've loved canned spinach ever since. I just have to limit consumption now.Who do you think you are? Popeye??
My oldest loved broccoli as a kid (and still does) and would substitute the fries for broccoli when we'd eat at restaurants. Waiters would always be shocked and ask him if Mommy was making him eat broccoli. He'd say no but I don't think they believed him.Funny, I was remembering back to childhood and insisted Mommy Dearest get me a can so I could be like "pie pie", as I called him. My kids weren't picky eaters and both loved most vegetables that we served them. My rule was, they had to taste it once before they could decline eating it.My oldest loved broccoli as a kid (and still does) and would substitute the fries for broccoli when we'd eat at restaurants. As a kid, I would put all the vegetables in my mouth and then pretend I had to use the bathroom. Would spit them into the toilet. I am still not a vegetable person. Like a few but mostly don't eat any.My kids weren't picky eaters and both loved most vegetables that we served them. My rule was, they had to taste it once before they could decline eating it.
My fiancé on the other hand, said she used to be made to sit at the table until she ate her vegetables. She learned how to hide broccoli in her napkin at a very young age. She will now eat the crowns, but still won't eat the stalks.
I just had an artichoke! No taste it, no desert. If you don't like it, ok. They liked lots of things most kids wouldn't touch, Lol.. They fought over artichokes. Lol
I love me some artichoke. Stuffed with seasoned bread crumbs. Steamed with melted butter. On toast with sliced chicken with parm and a little alfredo....... Bring it on! Please.....I’m leaning towards crab legs.

I remember my first time having broccoli, it was at my grandparents on a camping trip. I was afraid to try it just from the looks. Once I tried it I was surprised anyone would have any issue with it.My oldest loved broccoli as a kid (and still does) and would substitute the fries for broccoli when we'd eat at restaurants.
