I heard the shooter killed himself :shrug:
I guess we'll learn what happened eventually.
A witness statement I read said that the kid shot himself immediately after being hit by the round fired by the deputy.

That is one account. How about waiting for the M.E.'s report to see what the actual facts are. I realize that facts are often forgotten, especially in the past couple of years but how about we try this time?

I never read it until a minute ago on a blog but I apologize for offending you none the less.

Unfortunately, you can't take people at their word ....... even when quoting their own child who was present as a witness. Granted, my sense is that it did play out as advertised (kid took his own life) and in the scheme of things, it really changes nothing in the story. But you can't take any "information" seriously anymore.
Wasn't it just two weeks ago or so where a man was accused of groping a young girl at a dance? And wasn't there a bunch of "witnesses" who saw this transgression take place with all kinds of mommies swearing up and down it happened the way they were told? Only to have the only "real facts" be the video recording of the event that proved all the accusations were bogus?
People were lining up to lynch the poor guy because they were so certain what they heard was fact.
AP, isn't that what we all do here on the forums? As for me (and most others) we aren't slamming or flaming anyone. We are discussing, speculating.
I wasn't posting it as gospel. I was posting it as another source of info from someone who had a relative on the scene. I posted this in another tread here on SOMD, as well yesterday. In that tread, I also included that it matches up with what a first responder told me. HIS source was from a fellow first reponder's(who WAS on the scene) account of what had been seen there.
