Why is channel 4 referring to the area as Leonardtown.

LEONARDTOWN, Md. -- Police in St. Mary's County, Md., are searching for the person who killed the owner of a hair salon in broad daylight.
The incident happened late Monday afternoon at Hairtasia Haircutters in the Charlotte Hall area of St. Mary's County.
Police were called to the salon shortly after 5 p.m. for a robbery in progress. They said they found the body of 61-year-old Robert Phipps' body inside the store. They said he died of blunt force trauma, having suffered head wounds, but an official cause of death is pending the autopsy by the Baltimore medical examiner.
Police said they do not have a motive, but they are looking for a suspect.

I can only assume it's because that is where the barracks are based out of :shrug:
