Where shall we go for dinner

It was about the size of the salad bar at McKays, and didn't really have an enormous selection of eats IMO.

Maybe the one in DC is different - the one in B'more is ginormous, with pretty much anything you could ever want and then some.

But neither here nor there, there are zillions of restaurants within an hour's drive or so, so no need to bother giving Fogo a second chance if you didn't enjoy it the first time.

Remind me - what's the name of the restaurant in downtown Annapolis that you liked so much? A wine bar, I believe? I'ma make my date take me to dinner there.

You'll have to drive, BadGirl doesn't like to drive in Annapolis..

But beware, if she buys she'll think you're obligated to put out..

Went to Fogo de Chao with some friends last night -- the one in DC. GREAT service. We had reservations and were seated as soon as we arrived. Good food, but I doubt I'd ever go back. I didn't get a "wow factor" and there are plenty of other places I'd rather dine at for the money. All the meats tasted the same... so I was a little disappointed in that. The best part of the meal was the caramelized bananas. They were delicious!!

We went Saturday night and I agree with you. We enjoyed it and had pretty decent service (until they wanted to close, we had a 9pm reservation) but for the price I'd go to Smith and Wollensky, The Chop House, Mortons or Ruths Chris. It was a little bit of a pita for me because I like meat well done so the only meat they had readily available while making the rounds was the sirloin. Sometimes they came back with well done steak, sometimes they forgot.

I loved the parm crusted pork and the fried polenta. As for the salad bar, it was smaller than I expected but the asparagus and fresh moz was really good. The couple we were with said the Baltimore location is a lot better, they hadn't been to the DC one before. All in all, I'm glad we went but wouldn't go back to the DC location.

I went a couple of weeks ago. The service was great but the place was so loud you really had to strain to hear the servers. I found the food good and the ability to try a little bit of everything was nice. It rated decent in my book. I can say I've been there once and I'm not sure I'd go again just because I wasn't overly impressed.

Which location? Baltimore or DC?
