I have known Appy for over 20 years and she has a tremendous amount to offer when it comes to animals.....feel fortunate to benefit from forumites like this and leave them be personally, is that SO hard?

Apparently, for some, it's a disease. They really ought not throw stones when their own glass house is so fragile.

It's a damn shame ... but hey, what comes around goes around, right?

Appy is a good person ... those who know her, know better than to buy into whatever someone on here is trying to sling about her.

"Moderators who protect them" means exactly what it says. I can tell you I pm'd vrai to ask who was leaving the crappy stuff for me, and was ignored. So those of you who lack balls, you are protected. Yay for you. Feel good? Then I've done my civic duty and helped make someone's day by being a whipping post.

What the hell are you talking about? I've never "protected" anyone who was leaving threatening karma - why would I do that?

If people are just leaving "you suck" messages, BFD. Grow up and get over it or turn your karma off. But several people on here have been sat out for their karma comments, and some of them are my friends. So I obviously don't "protect" them and I don't appreciate you saying I do.

Appy left because of what was happening in her real life, not on the forums. THIS is why I discourage people from posting their personal information on here - ANYBODY in the world can see it. So when you link to your website that contains your address and phone number, what do you think is going to happen?

Nobody can hurt you on the internet - it's when you bring them into your real life that it can become a problem. And I have no control over what happens in your real life.

I haven't been fortunate enough to have met Appy. However, I did talk to her on the phone several times when I was interested in getting a Poodle. She was so helpful. She has tons of info (about dogs) that I needed to hear. All I can say is that I will miss her, and her picture posts. I always enjoyed them. My daughter met her several times, as she had Appy groom her dogs. She likes Appy a lot.

She was grooming a rescue Poodle once, and called me to tell me ... "you don't want this dog! He is a pri<k." (I can still hear her saying that!) I truly appreciated her honesty. She could have easily unloaded a dog on me, and here I am with a daycare, and 6 kids that could have been hurt. Here she was....grooming a Poodle for someone she never even met. The dog had to have a muzzle on to keep it from hurting her more!

Well, whoever you are that upset Appy.... you are a sick bastage!

When there is a direct request from a PREMO member (as in PAYING member) for information on an individual who regularly gives nasty personal comments for stupid reasons (as an example see below), One doesn't expect to be ignored by the board moderator. No response. Just ignored. If this isn't "protection" what is it?

Perhaps the solution is to provide a paid membership that has the added advantage of getting the information BEHIND the comments since that information isn't forthcoming even when requested. Just a thought of course.

I get much worse than this, on a fairly regular basis, and really don't care. Why people let this crap bother them is beyond me. You know this is all pretend, right?

Thank you for doing that. Several people asked me what terrible comments you'd gotten that I wouldn't do anything about. I don't think they believed me when I told them.

Well, I mean, I didn't tell them because I couldn't remember verbatim. But I did remember that it was rather benign nothing.

No but I saw a movie once with Richardo Montalban and he said "revenge is a dish best served cold" It was riveting. Good movie, except the part where the worm crawled into Chekov's ear, that freaked me out.

I think the only time admin has the obligation to tell you who sent you karma is if it's threatening to you or your family. But if you're upset over karma like people saying you get on their nerves or your ugly...then I think you need to toughen up a bit.....because whining about that silly stuff is annoying Shoot half the people here either like me or really really hate me...and the one's that I annoy (usually on purpose)...don't exaclty leave me loving karma messages...and I'll say about half of them are 8-10x worse then you're annoying one. And I've never asked Vrai to track anything for me.....why? Because stupid crap like that doesn't bother me...and I usually bring it on myself for laughs..and the karma just makes me know I'm doing my job

I only complained about my karma to Vrai one time. It was green karma and signed - but I knew very well that the karma could not of come from that person. Vrai put the actual sender in time out for signing someone else's name - major around here.

It's a system-wide feature - I can't just turn it on for one person. We took a vote awhile back to see if Premos should be able to see who sent them karma. It was voted down.

Attack? You ain't seen nuffin' As you can see, it's all about perception. You ignored my PM requesting that information. I posted publically my interpretation of the reason I was being ignored (protecting the offender since you can see exactly who it is and choose not to give out that information, not that it makes any difference anyway, since we all use screen names), and you perceived that as a personal attack. I perceive those types of red blips as an attack. Get my point?
