Joel Koskan, who ran unsuccessfully for state Senate in 2022 and days before the election was arrested on charges relating to child abuse, pleaded guilty to two counts of felony incest Tuesday morning.
He was sentenced in a Hughes County court room to 10 years in the South Dakota State Penitentiary.
"This is the first part of the healing process," Judge Margo Northrup said during the hearing.
Koskan, 44, originally faced felony child abuse charges for acts that allegedly took place between October 2014 and October 2016, according to court documents filed in November. He exposed his victim, a now 20-year-old woman, to "sexual grooming behaviors."

Show, by factual evidence, where anyone on here has advocated for any rape, of any type, at anytime. If you cannot do that then you are lying.
Just like you are doing with regard to Moon's position on the marriage issue. The end of your linked article said that, as to the couple he referenced - "Something that is often missing is the back story. With regard to my answer, I did not discuss the details: a 12 year old impregnated a minor of similar age. With consent of the parents, they married and are still married today..." Moon wrote. "Her parents consented — no force. Their marriage is thriving."

THAT IS RAPE.
A child under the age of consent cannot just choose to have sex and become pregnant and then get married.
They are not yet of age to make these decisions for themselves. Most likely the parents forced them into marriage and I am sure the child wasnt given an option of a chemical abortion, medical abortion or adoption.
