here is my actual view on the matter, and most matters as it would be.

I dont hate anyone, black,, gay, chinese, jap etc..

I do however hate any program that puts one person above another simply because of who they are.
The problem is twofold for me.
1) many people take comments like, Affirmative action is not needed,, and assume that means I dont like black people and want to see them fail. Not true.
2) when people start arguing, Im quick to fire back and that only results into a fight that breaks down into name calling and other insults. not at all productive and both sides lose the argument when this happens.

still, I do enjoy a good argument with people that are willing to see both sides of an issue.

You assumed I was white making the comments I made which promulgated your accusations of my being a racist.

I am an extremely racially tolerant person. I can laugh and joke about the stereotypes white people like to bring up and I can do so without calling them racists. I've been called a racist here before, but every poster who has ever called me a racist has apologized once they discovered I was black. The forumites who know me in person will back this claim to be true.

I have friends from every race and when we're all together the race jokes fly and we laugh about it because there's no harmful intent, and we are past the whole racism deal, we are friends...

Accusations loosely applied are irresponsible and extremely ignorant. If you had a shred of integrity you would apologize to me and the other members here you've accused of being racist (falsely).

If I've offended you in any way I apologize.....

In the future, you should excersize restraint before applying labels to those you know nothing about. If you can't excersize restraint back up your claims with good old fashion PROOF!!!

That's great. that was from an old fried chicken thread I started many, many months ago where I was accused of being a racist because I was talking about fried chicken and someone thought I was white making fun of black people. It's interesting how people just assume they know the color of a man's skin by simply reading their posts.

Sad thing is that if I spoke in ebonics, no-one here would ever question my race. I can only assume this is what NGM meant when he said no black person would speak as I do.

I'm still waiting for him to post a racist remark I supposedly made proving that I'm a racist.
