Dear Baja......your power over the bubble must be gone because the pool and fence here are down. Please report in about your trees.

They call me ... Sarcasmo
That chit was no fun to drive in last night. I was about 6 miles from home when we were slammed by a wall of wind. I pulled my sleeping guys out of the truck and set up camp in the basement.

No damage just a bunch of small debris in the yard.

I missed the whole thing. No damage, not even knocked over flower pots. Just leaves and a few branches in the yard.

Your tinkering didn't stop the storm, but at least it kept the tree limbs from doing any damage to my house and cars! Thanks!!

Not too bad, but needs some scoopin of leaves. Prolly not a good idea now with the lightning.

Sort of irritating that because we have gone without rain for so long and I had not watched the weather so certainly was not expecting this, I put about 3 inches of water in the pool today cause it was low. Now I'll prolly have to pump some out tomorrow.

Same here. Although it's gonna be hotter than hell all weekend so it'd probably just evaporate again anyway. We're having a cookout here tomorrow so maybe the guys will do a bunch of cannonballs to get rid of the extra water.

Over 48,000 people out of power ..... this will be several days before its fully restored .. and think about the guys and gals out there making it happen... they r the ones sweating their arse off to do it...
thought and prayers to all that don't have power .. and have damages. And to all the men and women out tonight dealing with the aftermath... hats off to all the fire and rescue personnel .. and the police.. and SMECO.... be safe!

:yeahthat: Everyone is quick to ##### when their power is out (which I understand, believe me!) but think of all the emergency personel working outside in this crap. Hope they all stay safe!

I am just flabbergasted. Had no idea any of this was going on. My lights apparently didn't even flicker because all my clocks were normal this morning.

Baja did your trees stay put? I think the wind missed you. It went up the golf course and passed the clubhouse. At least that's what I can see of the damage.

Me, too.

No real damage other than the dead tree out front is now horizontal, but not affecting the lane or anything.

Had a few very small limbs to pick up.

My maters caught the brunt of it. :bawl: I was out this morning re-staking them.

:buddies: How many drinks did you have before you went to sleep?

It was seriously just like the hurricane we had here last summer but my 3 year old little man slept through it all. You must have a bubble over your house!
