There were a few crazies who tried to get over the WH fence during W's Presidency. A few times and mysterious packages left in the vicinity. Vans and tractors too.

I've never NOT liked Bush, I don't like the way the war turned out (death toll) but I don't have a passionate negative feeling towards him because of it. I dont think anyone really does/did enough to try and hurt him except those who were mad about something extremely passionately.

As far as Obama, I think that there are people who are going to feel like he is not acceptable, enough to attempt something.

Did you even listen to the clip? O’Reilly was defending Ms. Obama. He spoke about how feels sorry for folks like Obama and Clinton because… wait… his exact words:

I have sympathy for them because they’re thrown into a, um, a hopper where everybody is waiting for them to make a mistake so they can just go and bludgeon them. In other words Forest, O’Reilly was defending Ms. Obama and the Clintons. He was quelling the caller's attempt to "go on a lynching party" against Ms. Obama. But you’re too mired in your ignorance over the use of the word “lynch” by O'Reilly to see the bigger context of what O’Reilly was trying to say.

As Vrai mentioned, O'Reilly is NOT a Republican. Point one you missed. He was not attempting hit a racial disparaging nerve. He was being fair. Point two you missed. But you and your “Media Matters” will take whatever you can out of context and spew the same old political hatred regardless of the facts and the context of those facts.

Your masters have trained you well.

Now we'll contrast that to the hoopla over Michelle Obama's comment, which was reported intact, in whole and in context, leaving the listener/reader to interpret as they will.

It is this sort of thing that has created, and then exacerbated, my fear and loathing of the Democrat party. Add the leftwing media in the mix, and it's no different from some fascist regime who controls the media and, therefore, the unwashed masses.
