Why this generations of kids is so rude?

Tell you what... if you, as an adult, happens to be standing in front of most any judge because you were defending yourself for just slapping a child... you will find the bailiff wrestling the handcuffs on your wrists there mister (or whoever). I am not supporting spoiling children, but the courts AND most law enforcement will treat any PHYSICAL correction to be abusive if the child says so!

I think that is the point of the first person saying it... like it or not. That is the way it is...
I guess you couldn't find an example?

When parents take their kids to daycare at 6 weeks old and expect daycare workers to raise their kids - this is what happens. Rude, undisiplined, uncaring, brats.

Don't hold your breath.

People will blame the "liberal judges" and "socialist courts" and "socialist brainwashing schools" rather than blame the parents.

Where do you get this? I know several kids who went to daycare at 6 weeks who are now graduating from high school going on to schools such as Va. tech, the naval academy, U of M, and Brown to name a few. These kids I have just mentioned are all polite, respectful kids who come from a two working parent house hold. One of them are mine, and I have always received compliments about how polite they are.

Where are you getting your information?

I will agree that it's the parent's responsibility to mold their kids. In many cases, parents are working long hours and will raise their kids in day care or in front of a TV because Mom and Dad are tired and don't want to spend time molding and diciplining their own kids. We certainly can't blame the schools for the way our kids act. Not giving teachers a real way to deal with the dicipline is a real issue. I will say that there were a lot fewer problems in schools back when teachers could actually dicipline. In today's environment, not only are the teachers hands tied but they have to face the "Not my kid" mentality from someof the brain dead liberal parents.

I've spent a lot of time with homeschooled kids v. public school kids. I will say the homeschool kids are generally more respectful, polite and nicer to be around. This is not to say that there aren't plenty of public school kids who are wonderful. There are. This goes back to the parents for the most part.

My daughter does come home and tell us stories about her teachers and how they will try to push their agendas on the class. At least she's smart enough to see though it all. As far as liberal judges. Well, yes they are part of the problem and not part of the solution.

Liberalism is a nasty disease that is spreading through our society. It sure would be nice if there was a cure. Oh, Andy...Did I read that you work in the school system? That's scary.

Or maybe she's FOS.

I'm not going to sit here and say there aren't liberal teachers -- there are. But all of them forcing an agenda down her throat?

Should I believe in the Pope ?

That's up to you. This topic has to do with rude kids and the question had two options, not three? I wasn't really expecting anyone else to answer the question. I will believe my daughter any day over the likes of Beaver-Cletus. If you want to believe the Pope, that's fine with me.

Where do you get that? Tell me one factual example in Southern Maryland where someone has gone to jail for simply smacking a child's buttocks, or using soap in their mouth as a course of discipline?
I worked with a guy in who was in the Foodlion in LP about 10 years ago. One of his children was acting up in the store and he gave his son a smack on the butt. Some women called the police on him right away and said he was abusing his son. CPS took his kids away. He had to take parenting classes, anger managment classes and it took a few months for him to get his kids back. CHILDREN KNOW WHAT THE LAWS ARE AND WILL THREATEN ALL THE TIME TO CALL THE POLICE OVER DUMB STUFF AND PARENTS GET SCARED. SO DON'T TELL ME I AM FULL OF CRAP. CHILDREN NEED TO GROW WITH THE RULES OF THE 1980'S. YOU SCREW UP WHILE PLAYING, YOU WILL BE SORRY WHEN YOU GET HOME. I THINK ALL OF YOU WHO GREW UP IN THE 80'S KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. LIFE WAS FUN BACK THEN. IT WAS SAFE TO PLAY AND WE KNEW WHAT NOT TO DO.

Thank you. That is exactly my point. Children will threaten to report you and so parents do nothing to correct their kids and they turn out to be monsters.

You are sounding kinda stupid. You obviously have a problem with me because I'm catholic and you're upset because the church wouldn't give you communion. NExt time, just go up and get it. I don't care. Why attack me? Oh, and what does this have to do with bad kids?

And you're a police officer, right? So you only deal with, for the most part, troubled and misbehaved children?

I deal with children everyday. Lots of them. And I agree that kids can be little terrorists. It's all on the parents, because they expect the schools to babysit their kids.

Free socialized daycare. :dye:

The schools have made every attempt to give kids the opportunity to live a better life. There are many incentives in place for kids to behave. And they're working. Overall, referrals and detentions are down -- way down -- from last year.

You don't know what you're talking about, so do yourself a favor and keep that hole in your face shut when it comes to the public education system.
Along comes the forums resident jerk off kid who proves the point to a T.

Well, for what it's worth, I think you are good to go. I'll see you in heaven. I would never tell another Christian something like that. I believe you though.
