Wish Mormons Would Stop Coming By

Curious....

I have not had Mormons visit...(I am ok with that).

However: Since one of their teachings involve the 10 "lost tribes" of Israel being brought to America and degenerating into Indian heathen (Joseph Smith's time was none-to-kind to Amerindians)...then...

Lets do the DNA testing!
Just 2600 years ago they were practicing Jews...and now they are "Red skins"
so...we should have little difficulty in tying together the Nez Pierce and the tribe of Dan...right?

I am not being facetious: The Mormons lead digs every years down among the Central American ruins...trying to prove the connection. It is kind of sad.

People disbelieve science when it tells them that the earth is older then 5000 years. They disbelieve science when it tells them that humans did not co-exist with dinosaurs. They disbelieve science when it tells them that species evolve over time.

If there was a genetic link between Israelites and Amerindians, it would be dismissed as another failure of science. If there was no link, it would be dismissed as a failure of science.

Why bother, if it will not convince anyone of anything?

Or the new "true prophet" Mike Ramirez is right, and everyone else is wrong.......

You are either going to be the only one in heaven since nobody else lives up to your standard, or your arrogance and judgmentalism is going to land you in hell.

There was a perfect man once. I think there's some kind of celebration about him this weekend. You might want to look into it. I'm pretty sure it isn't called "Mike Ramirez" day.

LOL - You obviously did not read my testimony nor understand the signature at the end of my posts. I do proclaim my faith that Jesus Christ (Yeshua HaMashiach) is The Divine Son of the Living God, Lamb of God, Resurrected Saviour, Lord of Lords - King of Kings, who will one day return to earth as Messiah and rule from Jerusalem for one-thousand years - according to the Holy Bible. However, that cannot happen until this earth goes through a seven (7) year period of falling under the influence of antichrist - according to scripture.

Thank you,MMDad, for giving me this opportunity to agree with you that Jesus Christ of Nazareth (Yeshua) was/is that perfect and sinless man who gave His Life so that you and I may be forgiven for our transgressions and receive eternal life by The Grace of God and through Christ and Christ alone .

:)

To prove Christianity as a whole, and the existence of Adam and Eve??

Prove Christ died on the cross?

To prove Christ didn't have any children?

To prove evolution?

This is called "Faith" itsbob! Some people have faith that something exploded and all life resulted and that through an evolutionary mutating process they descended from apes. Others have faith that this universe and all life was the work of a Divine Creator and that the wonders of the heavens and the earth declare His Glory.

Wow, using these big words that nobody else uses, MUST mean that you are the best Christian ever..

IMPRESSIVE..

LOL, o ye of little faith! The name Yeshua is the Aramaic name given to "Jesus" and HaMashiach is the Hebrew name for "The Messiah"

Since "Jesus" real ethnicity is Jewish and His real name is an Aramaic name it is only fitting that we know Him as He was known to His first-century followers who, by the way, were all Jewish and Israeli men, women and children.

Nope, I'm American and speak English.. I'm not Jewish nor am I Aramaic..

Jesus is just fine.. I don't have to think or sound better than anyone else..

It's NOT faith if it is proven or disproven, it then becomes fact, except to those too hardheaded to accept it..

Religion will ALWAYS be faith based, because falsehoods CAN'T be proven..

And that's fine with Him as well. As long as you understand who the real Jesus is. For example, the "Jesus" that Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and Muslims are taught to believe in is NOT the same Jesus as taught in the New Testament. But you would have to read their theologies to understand the comparisons and see what the differences are - if you really want to know.

Yes it is.. at least for the Mormons.. they read teach and are taught the King James version of the New Testament.

You believe your church that believes it's the most right, and everyone is wrong, JUST like every other church.. You're no different than anyone else walking this earth.

Evolution has never been proven. The theories have changed numerous times regarding earth timelines and evolutionary lineages, etc. Even secular scientists cannot all agree with each other. However, the ongoing debate guarantess great sources and reasons for getting funding to continue looking into their theories.

God's intervention through spiritual means has been a proven fact and many lives have been changed as a result.

There are other cults that teach from the King James version as only a source of reference and to give credence to their doctrines. As you may know, The LDS/Mormon doctrines have other supplementary teachings that they use to supersede the Holy Bible ie. The Book of Mormon, Doctrine and Covenants, and Pearl of Great Price. Same as Jehovah's Witnesses have their books as published from the Watchtower Society and how Islam declares some belief in biblical teachings but their Qur'an supersedes the Holy Bible.

Sorry you feel that way. Would you say that to Mormons who say they have the only true way to salvation?

I challenge you to prove me wrong about the things I have written regarding how said religions differ from each other while claiming they are the correct ones.

If you do not believe that Jesus was/is The Divine Son of God and Saviour of mankind who gave His Life for you to receive Salvation, that is your personal choice - but the fact is There is Only One Truth.

Ephesians 2:8-9 (King James Version)
8For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Some people will probably always have hardened hearts and deny anything of this world having any association with God. Faith is a gift from God, and not everyone will receive it. I count myself very lucky (blessed) that He actually gave me faith and belief because it's nothing you can just talk yourself into...because when it comes down to it, there is no proof positive miracle in my time that would convince me that God exists, but I know he does in my heart and my life.

Evolution is just another faith, unproved, and unconfirmed. If you believe in God, Creationism, and the Great Flood, the fossils left behind and the timelines in the bible are more believeable than evolution. (do some research on carbon dating if you don't trust me). It's less of a stretch to believe that God created this earth and all the inhabitants than the big bang theory and slime pits. And that's if you research it all, even being a non-believer. Most people only look or study from their point of view so this is an arguing point for those posting after me that won't acually pick up a book and read the other sides defense. The Moody Institute in CA has some great books on the subject, studied and argued by christian scientist. There are strong arguments - science based to suppport Creationism, you just have to look a little harder.

Bob, since you said the mormons use the King James version these passages are out of that version of the Bible.

Matthew 7:14
Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads to life, and few there be that find it.

Not everyone will go to heaven. You can't just be a good person and go to heaven. Satan has many tricks to lead people down the wrong paths, and there are many. There is one bible, and it's filled with the truth. When other religions start putting their writings, books, and "truths" before the one and only bible, there are lies involved.

King James Bible - Matthew 19:24
And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

I am often amazed that the most important thing in our lives is either ignored or trivilized as just something to think about once in a while, or argue about without studing. There is proof that Satan has hardened hearts to the point where they can't even consider there is a God, and if there is (he, she, it depending on your religion), everyone is welcome into heaven no matter what you do, or what you believe. It's called Universalism.

This is the real truth.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

You don't even have to believe me. Just go dust off that family bible that's sitting on a shelf somewhere in your home, or sitting in a drawer and start reading the New Testament and before we know it, you'll be posting promising messages instead of taking the defensive against good Christians that are just trying to save others from the broad path taken.
