...I had one of those everything falls to sh!t work days last week which for me is rather rare. I'm pretty good at making lemonaid when the lemons start falling on me, but that day SUCKED.

So...the bright side; What about your retirement dreams?

The world as we know it will end in 2012. There is no need for you to dwell on retirement plans.
Did your 8th grader come home and announce that last week? Mine did.

Did he happen to mention what day?
No but I think he said October. :eyebrow:

I will have delve into this a little deeper because if he's right I may be rethinking this whole celibacy deal.

...on the off chance it doesn't can I have your Social Security?
:roflmao:Like social security will still be around when I get to retire.

My plan: Sell house and contents, buy RV, spend 1 month with each kid on a rotating basis.

Isn't it all based on the fact that the Mayan calendar runs out in 2012? Who put the Mayans in charge, and should we really be trusting people who don't have the foresight to make a calendar far enough in advance?

And anyways, when D retires after his 20 (give or take) years are up, I want to move to Texas. Don't know what we'll do when we retire as old fogeys though.

Although this book concentrates on a potential global catastrophe at a random date within our immediate future, there are three powerful arguments for that date being Dec 21, 2012. I present them here, not as certainties, but as possibilities worth considering.

Mark 13:31-33

31"Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.

32"But of that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.

33"Take heed, keep on the alert; for you do not know when the appointed time will come.

Do you have Salvation?
