All i know is that the society is informing the ministers who are going door-to-door to be respectful of peoples privacy. if there is a trespassing sign don't enter.

Instead of going door to door...why not set up kiosk (sp?) in a mall or something. That way everyone can walk by if they are not interested and stop to read if they are?

Personally, I see JW as telemarketers....well...walk-a-marketers...lol. My opinion is that if I want to learn who Jesus is...I'll call a church of some kind and ask someone to tell me about the "good news"...other wise...I must not be interested.

"You can lead a horse to water..." .ever heard that one? How many Christians have backslided and remained lost? Its like the JWs are trying baill out the water of their boat but never fixing the hole in the bottom in the first place. JW just keep bailing out the water....and not many care to hear them. In fact, most just want them to drown. Instead of trying to save those who have never found the Lord in the first place, why not try to reclaim those who had accepted the Lord and became lost? Seems to me that there would be a lot less people bothered ...

I dunno....thats just my ramble...

Actually, my wife invited them to come in one time to "pray the rosary." Needless to say, the didn't hang around long. She started preachin' to them. They are good people with good intentions and I respect their love for God, but I think they are going gaining support in the wrong way. They don't get a lot of people converting and their approach has become somewhat of a joke to everyone else. God Bless

Right; because most people are more grounded than to alter a major part of their lifestyle based on a 5 minute pitch. And if someone would switch like that, they are likely too weak-minded to keep the faith once they've agreed to it.

No, it shouldn't. I didn't post it to get into a discussion about religious beliefs. I understand people and their faith, and respect them for that, but they in turn need to be respectful of my right to not have them come unannounced and unwanted onto my property. It's as simple as that.

I'm thinking you could put up a sign that says "Our Lions have a strict Christian diet"
or a person of 'color' could have a sign that says "Our pets only eat white meat, off of live white people", either would be ok and considered free speech as white people and
Christians are not considered minorities.
