If one develops who would be willing to go?

maybe a three day weekend sometime toward the end of July or the first week in August?

I added the choice for BS and DR. Holiday Inn, that way we can try to find a place close to the Holiday Inn, they can join us for festivities, then retire to their hotel room where they can enjoy an evening of sanitizing themselves from being in a campground partaking in red-neck activities, then they can slip peacefully into the hotel room bed where they will sleep nestled warmly in the left over splooge from the greasy 600 lb single guy that stayed there the night before..... oh wait that would never be an issue at a hotel.

Will there be air conditioned hotels or cabins nearby?
cabins, most likely, and thats why I asked about the holiday inn. might not actually be a holiday inn, but Im sure we can find something with a hotel not too far away

I usually get a cabin at Westmoreland for a week in the summer, very reaonable and only about an hour away.

Sure. But I think a background check is required for all the freaks attending.

I love camping but I had one question. Would all the forumites sit around the campfire and talk or would they sit in their trailers on their laptops and post back and forth on SOMD? We may need to find a campground with wireless internet access so all the forumites can communicate.

I think that was already addressed in another post... those that wish to remain hidden can do so and still stay in contact via the forums while a beer gets passed their way every so often..... :lmao:

I'd like to do that, but that time frame is no good. I'll consider it for another time.

Ack. I won't even go to parties with large numbers of forum people I don't like. So it's outside the realm of possibility that I would spend a whole weekend camping with them. :guh:

It would be fun since I love camping and meeting people, making new friends. But with the gas prices not sure we could go too far away......we have gone on road trips the last couple of yrs, Michigan 2yrs ago, Kentucky last yr. It was so much fun!! This yr we are going to PA, and then VA for KINGS FEST. staying close to home. Next yr we are planning a cross country trip, taking a month off for my big 50 b-day!!!!!
