Lets go over lawn mowers. They all have a sign that says don't stick you hand under them while they are running. They have a chute that gets stopped up when the grass is wet. That's usually the first thing I take off it. They have a lever that shuts it down when you walk away from it. I tie that down with a piece of electrical tape. My riding mower has a button under the seat to shut it off if I get up, I get rid of that really fast and tie it's chute up with because I hate the look of the windrows it leaves behind . There is nothing designed by man that cannot be disabled by man.

You won't believe this, two old women asked my dad to start a lawn mower for them one day so he did. Before he realized it they put their hands under the mower picking it up while it was running, their fingers must have been millimeters from the blade, they carried it across the street sat it down and started mowing the lawn across the street.

I made Monellyeti® cooler accessory when we were rolling around in the blazing hot US south west. I used gorilla tape, some reflectix insulation and some string. I also taped some reflectix to the inside lid of the cooler. I'm not sure how efficient it was, but it was better than not using it.

Speaking of reflectix, that stuff came in handy in Phoenix. I'm surprised the stadium where the cardinals play isn't named after that product. I had that stuff taped to every window in the rig to help keep the internal temperature in the double digits.

When someone would tell me that 116 degrees is a dry heat, I would reply so is the inside of an oven.

If I may ...
for your consideration ...

I thought Yeti coolers had those rubber lid straps to keep them closed. Never seen one with magnet latches.

I believe its on their soft coolers.

The reason they should be horsewhipped is selling a cooler for $350. The Ozark Trail one from Walmart is the same thing for 1/3 the price.

The beauty of living in a capitalist society is freedom to purchase what we want to buy, not what we're told to buy.

"A fool and his money are soon parted."

If someone wants to pay through the nose for a cooler, far be it from me to interfere. Ozark Trail markets some damn fine camping and outdoor equipment. :yay:

Yep...and I have a couple that I got as gifts..will keep my coffee hot for a good 90 minutes..
Yeah I’ve got two. My company had a bunch made up with their company logo on it.

I probably should use it a little more often. One of them still sitting upside down on the windowsill unused.

You keep a degauser handy?
Ask me how I know what one is?
My first ship, launched in 1942 still had the degausing system installed. I can't remember if we ever attempted to fire it up. A lot of valuable copper doing nothing.
