My first ship, launched in 1942 still had the degausing system installed. I can't remember if we ever attempted to fire it up. A lot of valuable copper doing nothing.

30 years ago one of my nephews showed me what a magnet would do sliding it back and fourth on his little B&W TV one afternoon.
I told him dont do that to your mother's living room color TV. It was more than he could stand. He turned her TV into a rainbow flag.
She had to get the TV repair man to do a service call and degause the picture tube.
That one still does stupid on a daily basis.

Had a friend in the hospital on opioids, the constipation they caused made him go two weeks. He said after the enema he filled several of those pans to over flowing.

these days there are many RX's that can cause constipation so you have to be cognizant of the side affects and take in the necessary fiber/water.
