"I'll be loving you for-ehhhh-ver". OMG, flashbacks.

How sad are we?

My room was all NKOTB. I had a paid of leg warmers (yes leg warmers) that I was wearing the first time I heard their song and I was convinced they were good luck so I hung them on my wall and every night wished on them that Joey would come and be my first kiss, LOL!!

I got to shake Toby Mac's hand at Awakening Fest......my son thought it was the greatest he got to shake his hand after the concert. Since my daughter goes to the bands booth ( where they sell their Cd's Tee Shirts etc ) she always seems to get to meet the band memebers after concerts ( they some times hang out at their booths and give out autographs ) The Christain groups almost always do that unless they have another show to race off to, you get to met them and talk to them..it is really cool, esp. for the teens. I have to admit, I was excited to Shake the hand of Toby Mac....I love his music.

Holy crap. I had a pair of rainbow colored leg warmers. Just what you need as a kid in FLORIDA.

You are lucky! My brother got tickets for $250.00 each!!! :yikes:
His daughter is 8 and thats all she wanted for christmas.

I HIGHLY recommend that you invest in the squishy ear plugs that go inside your ears and THEN the headphone earplugs. SERIOUSLY. Otherwise, you will hear nothing but little girl's high pitched screams in your ears for the rest of your life.

Oh yeah, I can picture it in my head.

My brother was 2 grades ahead of me and the cool guy on campus. He told me to stay away from him on the days I wore my NKOTB tshirt to school. :lmao: Can't say I blame him.

They actually had Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam video too... she was my favorite

Boy 1 and a few friends are going.

I will be there with my 12 yr old son, 21 yr old daughter, and maybe hubby...he is not all into the music as much as Iam but he will sometimes go with us. He did go to the concerts with us at Kings Fest...that was great!

I didn't check ages on this as Boy 1 is a regular, but I guess this is one of the events when they open up the age bracket. Boy 2 is 12 and has not been able to attend yet. Boy 1 has met many bands. I never stay because I have 2 others to take care of, but I often car pool a group over there. My friend is one of the organizers/permanent chaperones of the club.

Oh yes, I know. Apparently these Jonas Brothers guys are like the equivalent of Beetles-mania. I'm going to need the Nascar style headphones for when she opens the present and realizes she's going.

We have only been one other time, my son is 12 but I will be with him. I like a lot of the music too, not too much into Heavy Metal but I can listen to it for about 5 minutes. My daughter likes some of the Heavy Metal Bands, like P.O.D. etc.
