My life is not this eventful and the guys I have dated in the past got married years ago... except one who is already divorced I am happily married and don't want or miss any of my exes

I think it's perfectly normal to be somewhat sad when an ex has something of significance happen in their life, such as an engagement/wedding/birth. Regardless of why the relationship ended, your friend still spent several years with this man. Maybe deep down she wishes the relationship never ended. Who knows... :shrug:
