There is more to Va Beach than just the beach, there are lots of nice neighborhoods in the area. That place is alot different than it was when I growing up. We always went there or OBX every summer. I lived in NC 12 years ago. That was the last time that I really spent time in VA Beach. I drove through a few years ago and stopped for a walk. Ugh.Nickel said:
I rarely visited Va Beach when we lived here when we were younger. When we moved to MD, my aunt (who lived near us in NC) moved to Va Beach, and I spent a lot of time there in the summer. I lived there for about six months a few years ago. And this is exactly the reason that so many of us like it here. We take offense at people who say negative things about Southern Maryland, just as you take offense at us for saying negative thigns about VaBeach. It's all about personal choice, and where people want to live. If you don't like it here, then find that place that makes you happy.nitwhit3286 said:
