Unfortunately, that is what I have been told. The females asked wouldn't be interested in getting to know a person unless they were physically attractive

duh yes, several are friends I have know for years.
They would be happy to tell you what a great guy I am, all my wonderful attributes.
Except...
It happens to be important to them
It's the opposite, what I have found is that the women that show interest are usually NOT someone I am interested in.
Needy, not the sharpest tool in the shed, controlling, manipulative, IMHO it's because they feel I will tolerate that behaviour because.
My ex flat out told me, I'd put up with her crap because nobody else wants you.
