6 miscarriages? I thought you said you had just went off birth control and just got engaged when u got pregnant. Either your timing is off or your miscarriages happened with previous relationships, in which case you still fit the bill :yay:
 Believe what you want to believe about me. It must be nice to live in your ivory tower :yay:

Absolutely. Of course, when does the count to 18 -start-?
Well, since it's a "birth" date, I would start counting from birth

Or, are you suggesting that the living, breathing, separate life voluntarily placed within the womb of the mother by the mother and father is not actually a life?

You based your entire argument about how you didn't fit that "other" category since you were engaged. You then went ahead to say that you became pregnant with your son shortly after you became engaged. You then said prior to becoming pregnant with your son, you had been on the pill. You then said you also had 6 miscarriages. That timeframe leads me to believe most, if not all, of the 6 miscarriages occurred while you weren't engaged, putting you back in the category that you tried to sidestep by saying you were engaged.

That's all I was trying to say. :yay:

I forgot the "officially" engaged part. We were engaged 6 months prior to the official popping of the question (the ring was bought, just travel kept us both apart for long periods, and he wanted to plan a big surprise thingie for me for the "official").

OH... and 4 of the miscarriages were in that relationship.

The other 2 came from HS when I was young and stupid... but I was with the same guy for about 6 years

Oh wait, you did.
living, breathing, separate life

Show me a fetus that can survive that without the life of their mother (or similar holding cell) and I will agree it is a living breathing seperate thing. Because seperation kinda assumes that it is a -seperate- life than the mother.

I hope Nana now is reading and understands things are sometimes necessary and there are unique situations.

Nana does understand and has been saying that all along. I wish you would slow down think about what you are saying and "listen" to what others say you would understand that this was not a personal attack on you it was on what you said and you have changed the basis of the story 3 times now adding information each time.

Yup. It is not a "life" until it is outside of her. Until then, it is not a seperate thing.

hmmmmmm
I don't. I'm just asking. What happens if that happens? Happened to my brother. His whore of an exwife was a single mother he married. Her son was calling him "dad" and me uncle. When she decided she was done with my brother, her son was screaming that he wanted his daddy back. Traumatized the hell out of that 6 year old.

So, in the ill event that you and your sons family don't work out, will he be able to understand why his picture doesn't work?

Wow... sorry that happened to your brother. It's a sad thing to happen to children but it does happen, I'm sure your brother's step kid will eventually get over it, kids are resilient for the most part.

As a single parent you just don't go into a relationship blindly, you're more guarded and you think things out much more than if you didn't have kids at all. In my situation, BF and I are working on something much larger.
