Nope sorry, doesn't change my mind.. STUPID!!

I'm sure her five year old doesn't need to grow up riding past that spot everyday and be reminded of where her mom died..

Let it go.. have a memorial service in a church, or a Legion (whichever her beliefs would have been more comfortable with) then let it go!
Talking aobut ripping off the scab.

One would think the road side memorial would, too. I can't imagine driving by a memorial to a loved one and getting all choked up with tears....and crashing.

The roadside memorial at the wildwood light is there because her family buired her in New York and wouldn't let anyone go to it.

She was doing something stuiped but she left alot of people behind that cared alot about her including a child that was 5 at the time.

The street corner is not the cemetary. Why dont all the people and friends left behind take up a collection and buy a spot in a graveyard and you all can put up all the balloons and teddy bears you want. Its Chaney Enterprises, not Chaney Cemetary and Im really sorry for your loss, but I for one am tired of seeing it after all this time.

Not all cemeteries allow all that frou-frou for just that reason.
Yeah, there's a reason for that.. it should look quiet, subdued and dignified.. rotting stuffed animal carcasses kind of take away form the aura you'd want..

So? It seems that he friends should have sent up their personal remembrences of her and sent them up to her family in NY instead of posting that crap on the side of the road.

And I go past it all the time and think about her but it's good thought about how much of a wonderful person she was and how things did have to end up the way they did with her. But like i said for the people that are here that were close to her have no place to go so we stared the site a few days after it happened and i haven't been back since.

good for you.

Lot's of wonderful people are memorialized in cemeteries. There is no reason to have the trash on the side of the road.

If they need a memorial because the burial site is too far away, set up a freakin' shrine in somebody's home.
