Thank you for your helpful comment that will allow me to sleep peacefully, without worry that my child will crawl out of his crib and fall on the floor..................:spank:

Hearing the loud *THUD* when he fell out was horrifying. It was 2:00 a.m. when it happened.

I made it clear to my husband that none of us were going back to sleep until the crib was fixed. :coffee:

Crib was back up and running by 2:30 a.m.

Guess ya'll don't want to hear that my son crawled out of his crib at 15 months head first into a giant leggo block my older daughter had been playing with. 6 stiches right between the eyes. Now that he's 23, I feel better knowing he can crawl in and out of his crib without my assistance. :roflmao:

J/k I replaced his crib with a twin bed after that. He's graduated to a queen size now that he has his own place.

:cds: That's it!... I am getting a straight jacket and strapping him down during the night.

He will thank me when he is older. :coffee:

You sound like my mom. She is a dental hygienist. Just make sure and brush his teeth after a bottle or sippy cup of milk at night unless it is just water then you are fine. My wife and I have only ever given our son water or milk or almond milk in our son's case..We have a routine nightly and if he doesn't get his second nap during the day he has a hard time sleeping at night.
I am in the Dental Field, and have seen Milk Bottle Erosion in severe cases where little ones had to wear Dentures. Water in a bottle only.

Might be cow milk allergy...other than a mother's milk or goat milk; milk is very hard to digest. Your baby may have acid reflux. Have you talked to your ped.?

Yes I AM!

You need internet friends to :smack: you out of your :wr: ways everytime you have a :wr: moment. Otherwise, everyone will think you are just :jameo:

Now come here :smoochy:

But don't the kids have to have milk until they are two?! How the hell am I supposed to give bubba his milk? with and IV?

Who says kids have to have milk until they are 2? The milk industry? We are the only "animal" that continues to drink milk after we are weaned...just sayin'.

Psst: How about you give him his milk during the day prior to bed and some at dinner time? Brush his teeth after dinner, then give him water before bed.

Do I have to come move in with you and teach you all these tricks? :killingme

When I was little I would crawl out of my bed, go to the kitchen, put a chair up to the fridge, make myself a bowl of ice cream and go out and watch tv. I guess my night owl started early. I was only caught because I left all the evidence out once. (I must have stayed up too late for even me and gotten forgetful.) Most of it didn't worry my mom too much except what I might have been watching late at night.

Maybe baby is just a night owl? Or does not going to bed early have bad effects the next day?

Sippy cup? Can he have anything in a sippy cup? :jameo:

You're his Mother, you can give him whatever you'd like in his sippy cup

W A T E R

I'm sorry the pregnancy made you lose the ability to read. :huggy:

Doesn't matter how he drinks it, it's the sugar in the milk that decays the teeth.

He is certainly allowed to have milk, juice and/or WATER in his sippy cup :yay:................just preferrably not right before bed, and if he does have it right before bed he should brush his teeth

all the way to the bottom.

I have tall kids. What can I say?

Clearly  my little stinker's just over the rails, height-wise, and he'll be 8 months old this Wednesday....we shall see ey? :/
