Think about the logic go blow yourself up and you can have 13 virgins or not and....

Good to know that god would want us to hate vs. forgive and pray for.

That's kind of the message I get.

good job spreading gods word. I'm glad that the true christians know to spread the word 'hate', just as jesus would have.

All I'm saying is that all these self proclaimed athiests should be out in full force, trying to change this world as we know it. If they truly believe there is nothing after this life, and we are all worm dirt, why don't they do something? They have NOTHING to lose....(except their soul).........
When their loved one's die, or they are on their death bed, do they, for a moment, believe in anything greater than themselves........Just asking..

I'd rather just get by in the world, rather then bicker and hate thank you. I don't need/want to change what already works fine for me. I mean I do some things, but mostly, I'm fine.

I've know people who have died, some very close family. I honestly have no idea what is out there (whether it be heaven, hell, or nothing) and neither do any of you. It would be nice and everything if we all went to heaven, but by now the entry has been kind of polluted by everyone and his brother saying that they alone know the way. I think I'll do the best I can and not worry about it. After all, jesus did the best he could and is sitting up there (if there be there) so that's what I'll do.

Maybe you hit on something here (no pun intended). Very few Christians are blowing other people up for thinking differently than them on religion. Very few, but significantly more, Muslims do blow up themselves and/or others for thinking differently than they do on religion.

I was thinking more current than hundreds of years old, but you are very accurate here with bad Christians in the past.

But, a difference would be the cries of those in the religion against barbaric practices. Even then there were cries against. I don't hear much about that today, against the current barbarism. I was speaking to the culture of the religions today.

However, you put me in my place well. :lol:
