Nadia's hair-do gave me Road Warrior flashbacks.

I was extemely disappointed in Anwar and Nadia's performances last night. They just did not sing to their potential. Past performances were so much better.

Loved Bo, Carrie and Jessica. Mikalea has GOT TO GO!!!!! She was just awful last night. This was the 2nd week in a row where the judges - even the ever perky Paula - had a hard time finding anything good to say about her performance.

Scott, was okay, but I though he was starting a striptease show last night and then Nikko did almost the same thing!

I am really pissed about the vote since I have to be at a meeting tonight. I only hope I get home before the voting closes.

Mikela got voted off last night. Finally!!

However I was very surprised to see Nadia in the bottom 2. I thought Nikko would be there for sure.

I think it was definitely time for her. Nadia is a good performer, but too odd for some...I just don't like her even though I know she can belt it out. :shrug:

Nikko has done wonderful, why would you think he'd be in the bottom 3? I think he's refreshing and I'm glad he returned. Jessica Sierra gets on my nerves...
I love by Chubber Chunker, Scott. ...Anthony should roll at some point soon...

I just didn't "feel" it tonight. No neck Jessica is starting to bug me, Carrie did fine, ... Paula was way too sugary sweet and sappy...IMO it was a very off night. I wasn't feelin' it, dawg!

Well, I guess I'm watching it on a delay, cause it just started here. Bo just blew the top off that joint, IMO.

And Jessica just this second ended. She doesnt' bug me, but that song was kinda blah...



I guess I don't have high hopes for the rest of the show. Maybe next week I shouldn't read this until after 8 Mountain time.

Don't be sorry... It's not like it was the final episode. It's just that I thought the show was live - kind of disappointed that it's not.


Nadia kicked a little butt - she does a good Melissa Etheridge. (Maybe next week she'll shave that head!) I wasn't big on Anwar this week. He's usually one of my favorites, but I didn't care for his version of that song.

Constantine is on right now.... Not big on his performance either. But I hate that song, so maybe I'm biased.

I agree it was a pretty bland show this week. I thought Simon summed up the performances of many best when he told Jessica that she needs to pick more memorable songs. Even Carrie, who I usually love was off last night and Scott - he was awful. I like Vonzell but it would have been better if I could understand the words. I just hate songs that I can't understand what the singer is saying.

I missed all of it because I had company over for Texas Hold Em'... I did catch the recap of all the performances at the end to see how folks did. I think the next three to go... in this order are


1. Constatine... (becausehe sold himself out and has not been true to his character... I think he did that with his "I think I love you" Partridge family song selection)

2. Fat boy with glasses.... he's ok but he's got way too much attitude as was exhibited in the beginning of the season in the groups section. I feel like he's just doing this to prove his father wrong and if he doesn't make it another week, that will be his biggest fear... facing his father or something... too many issues and attitude - he projects an aire of conceit and has no reason to.

3. The blond haired russian kid that looks like his hair got caught in a conveyer belt and then chopped free. He was ok, but from the clip I saw last night he sucked... a few weeks ago, he looked sexy in his tight black t-shirt, so you didn't real hear the vocals, etc... but lately, he hasn't done much....

4. Nikko will go... simply because the competition is now getting tight and he's already gone before... should be a less complicated and less guilt getting rid of him (again).

I think Anwar was weak yesterday, but he's been one of the strongest contestants until last night, so I think he'll be forgiven (on the other hand, he reduced Paula Abdul to tears - so maybe he doesn't need forgivness).

Vonzelle and Nadia are simply two great singers - and Bo is just mad popular. I'm not sure, but I suspect that he (and Constantine) have the most rabid and loyal fanbase out there. I have a strong feeling that unless he does something crazy (like cuts his hair or tries to rap) he can do no wrong.

I totally agree. I really liked him when he auditioned and before the final 12 he did really well. Once he made the final 12 his song choices and the performances have been pretty bad. Like Simon said last night he is not going to make on the few big notes he sings in the 2nd half of his songs.

It doesn't matter how well someone does or not, it's all a popularity contest. Nadia has continuously belted out songs and is consistently one of the three low vote getters, go figure.

And why is it only the girls have been kicked off, is it the little teeny-boppers boosting the guys votes?

I was sure shocked last night. I expected Anwar to be in the bottom 3 along with Scott and Anthony. I was very surprised to see Nadia go. Maybe the mohawk from last week turned everyone off.

I look all of the performances the person gave when casting a vote.

I agree with all of the above, except maybe who may go tonight. I would love to see Scott go as I have never liked his attitude since day one. However I think it may be Nadia or Anthony that go. Especially since Nadia has been in the bottom for the past 2 weeks.

I agree about Paula too. A frog could come out and croak on stage and she would gush over how wonderful it was.
