Guy on the TV said, there's probably a handful of things that, given motivation - he could do. For example, tracking celebrities, there's sites that tell you where they are all the time. Want a gun in a hurry? You CAN skirt around the laws. And latest is, he sat there for 12 HOURS waiting for a shot.

I've seen ONE report mentioned an SKS, then I saw the shooters position photo
Poor Quality, but yep an SKS ... you can tell by the front 1/2 of the weapon
Has the FBI published a better photo beside the one at the fence? From that photo, the front half looks like my Norinco MK90

Not familiar with a SKS. Used the M-14 and M-16 from 1966-70. I liked the M-14 better than the "16" and my range scores proved it.
Not that I have seen, but AK's do not have barrels that long with a bayonet lug
