You could say that we live in a very civilized period when compared to other historical times. And this is with a world population greater than 8 billion people. Compared to just a few decades ago, when in 1959, the world population was estimated to be less than 3 billion.

Based on the bits and pieces so far, it *appears* that she (born female, identified as a trans male) did this 1) as part of being radicalized by the militant trans movement, and 2) suicide by cop.

I watched the video and while I agree that police are to be commended for going right in and neutralizing the shooter, I did have this observation. At the end, 2 police rifles shoot 4 or 5 rounds and drop the shooter and the officers yell "clear" and drop their muzzles. Then the guy with the camera comes around the corner at unloads three rounds into her dead or near-dead skull and then yells "Stop moving, stop moving."

I'm not going to judge since I have never been in a similar situation, but I have to ask of anyone who ever has, is this just adrenaline or was this guy a cowboy who just wanted to get in on the kill. My first thought was that this was similar to when you see the many videos of police yelling "stop resisting" while they're beating some poor guy senseless.

I originally thought that as well, but my husband made me watch it 2 more times. She did move her hand with the gun in it. In my mind, she is down but I guess the officer wanted to be safe, make sure she didn't fire more rounds afterwards even if it was a death movement.

I could go along with this one. Not that I think it would help in this case, but some people just can't seem to handle the exposure or lack of it.

The mindset is taking something or someone, that is or may be, the only irreplaceable thing someone else loves on this earth.

I do not subscribe to that mindset myself, and because I can identify it does not in any way mean I condone it.

That would require blaming the medium rather than the irresponsible people using it. Something liberals cannot fathom.

Notoriety. She wanted to die , but at the same time she wanted the notoriety and she wanted to push her trans agenda.

It isn't the Social Media that is doing the harm it is the Main Stream Media.

Just like it isn't the gun that did the killing, it was a nut. It wasn't the school or the teachers "it" killed.

I like the pronoun "it" for these people , to me the pronoun fits.

I get what you are saying.

What would have been more shocking is if shim went over to the full playground and offed herself in front of them all. Horrific of course and the media would still have a field day with the story. :confused:

And I guess we should be lucky she didn't start plucking children off at the playground. Shim had to see the amount of children playing outside.

Now that they have released police footage of shim being taken down, perhaps they will let us all read shims manifesto shim was said to have left behind.

I would be interested in reading it to see if she/he voiced regrets over being coerced into transitioning at an early age. However, that is exactly what the MSM will never allow to be revealed if true.
