Based on the bits and pieces so far, it *appears* that she (born female, identified as a trans male) did this 1) as part of being radicalized by the militant trans movement, and 2) suicide by cop.

I watched the video and while I agree that police are to be commended for going right in and neutralizing the shooter, I did have this observation. At the end, 2 police rifles shoot 4 or 5 rounds and drop the shooter and the officers yell "clear" and drop their muzzles. Then the guy with the camera comes around the corner at unloads three rounds into her dead or near-dead skull and then yells "Stop moving, stop moving."

I'm not going to judge since I have never been in a similar situation, but I have to ask of anyone who ever has, is this just adrenaline or was this guy a cowboy who just wanted to get in on the kill. My first thought was that this was similar to when you see the many videos of police yelling "stop resisting" while they're beating some poor guy senseless.

It's my opinion that these shootings and abortion share an underlying cause.

Humans are so mean!

Children should not be brought into this world and then shot to death in a classroom or starved to death in a homeless shelter.

Humans are so mean!

You know why women don't want to have babies? It because humans won't lay down their egos and their guns and their racism.

The world is mean.... and our babies are paying the price!!!

Huh... hell.... look around.... prejudice pulled the trigger....

Don't you have a koran babble to read?

Stepping over that body may have influence.
The news gives the impressing that there were only two cops involved, seems more than that.

I could go along with this one. Not that I think it would help in this case, but some people just can't seem to handle the exposure or lack of it.
I guess what I was trying to say is - everyone wants to blame GUNS. Frankly, not only is the problem NOT guns, but it's a problem so serious and so pervasive - I'm not sure there's a solution at all.

Now I mention social media because we have myriads of accounts of teens and older persons committing suicide via cyber-bullying, but it could be said that a lot of violence is incited by social media.

So - why not BLAME social media? And, like with guns - why not take measures to outlaw it, get rid of it?

You know - like - China?

But the problem - we have a problem in our society and especially in pop culture and our youth - you may have heard that in ADDITION to the problems of COVID and lack of learning - there's extreme lack of discipline. Kids are disruptive and teachers are NOT equipped with the means to deal with it. Worse, the kids have parents who are just as bad.

I have heard stories for years now of incredible vandalism, fights, disrespect and disruptive behavior in our local schools - and I know of one or two teachers who have just - given up. When you have bathrooms that are no longer usuable, because kids have destroyed sinks and commodes.

That kind of behavior - THAT is a big part of why there's violence in schools. You're worried about gun violence, but it's bad because there's no control at all.

Supposedly the Sup of Chuck County Schools will be on T-Bone and Heather tomorrow morning. I wonder if there will be some tough questions or just softballs.

I was terrified of my father growing up, TERRIFIED. Today, these children act like they live on their own and are not accountable to anyone.

Several of my teacher friends have left the school system the last few years. According to them, they got tired of being stuck with behavior problems the management above them did nothing about.

My dad was like Obi Wan - wise, kind and brave.

But DON’T PISS HIM OFF.

My father was the kindest man I ever knew.
I never feared my father,. When I did something wrong instead of fear I felt I had let him down.
And I did let him down a lot in my youth.
He died when I was 17, and I miss him to this day.

The world is a scarwey place, always has been and will always be.

"Humans are so mean!" So are lions and tigers and bears! Oh my!

"It because humans won't lay down their egos and their guns and their racism." This doesn't warrant any cognitive discussion, because, you be ignorant and fully programmed by constant anti-American propaganda.

"prejudice pulled the trigger." Uh ..... no ..... a mentally deranged woman pulled the trigger.

By the way. Be thankful you live here in the good 'ole U S of A. Because if you lived in Israel you'd be going to jail soon with all the Jesus Christ postings you write about. Come to think, maybe it's what set that wacko woman off. Since anything Christian nowadays seems to be taboo.
I've told everyone many a time, they, hate Christians and anything Jesus Christ, and are doing their damndest to end it here as well.

Bill Pending in Israel Would CRIMINALIZE Talking About Jesus; in person, online, in print and by mail: Two Years PRISON!

Even though you never met him he left you his genes.
I don't know you, but from your posts, you are intelligent, you have a work ethic and you seem to be successful at what you do.
No doubt much of that success you made for yourself, but inherited genes had a hand in it.

My grandfather (retired as a Rear Admiral in the Coast Guard..an accomplished feller) was my role model and guide. I was an only grandkid, my father being his only kid, so I was "lucky" to have my grandfather's undivided attention. ;-)

Raised the old school way by an experienced older man with great wisdom. You definitely drew the short stick and won. Grandparents, the untapped knowledge and wisdom repositories of the day, have so much to share and teach. If just given the chance. Lucky you, absolutely.
