I wonder how many people would still be alive if all she/he could buy was smaller caliber weapons?

Are you really that dense? Even a .22 caliber rifle/pistol will kill with as much certainty as any other caliber. Please do not speak of issues you know nothing about. Idiot.

Local girl shot up a mall near me with a Ruger 10/22. Killed three, wounded seven. Among the dead, a two year old and a doctor.

The kid who walked up and took the rifle from her became a state trooper and was the captain of the barracks that responded to the amish school shooting.

A lot of people on the left don't realize it, but an AR-15 in its native format is a small caliber weapon, very small.

A 30-30 hunting rifle is considered underpowered by todays standards by many people for even hunting deer, but it does more damage than a .223 caliber that an AR-15 fires. About 25 years ago the news was doing a story on how the M-16 wasn't enough to stop an enemy soldier and our military should have a higher caliber weapon.

I've always thought there are a few more products that you can buy everywhere that would do more damage than a gun if someone really wanted to do damage.

A 30-06 is one of the most popular hunting cartridges today, check out how much bigger it is than the 223.

Nope. Since it is you that lacks intelligence, which is very apparent by your posts, any intelligent conversation goes over your head. Hence, calling you out.

The AR-15 standard bore is such a very small caliber that it is not allowed to be used for hunting game in some states. too small..too weak. Think about that....think really hard about that...and stop drinking the lamestream Koolaid. The AR-15 in .223/5.56 is ALREADY one of the smallest caliber rifles you can buy!!!

It’s because they don’t understand any of it.

The racism kicks in when they see one of these rifles, because it’s Black.

What she was using was a pistol caliber carbine. 9 mm most likely.

that automatically makes it much weaker than almost any rifle cartridge.

Exactly. The "media" has to make it sound like the standard AR-15 round is something terrible...but they are so incredibly wrong. It's a very small caliber...and weak as piss. The thinking at the time it was adopted by our military was that it would wound rather than destroy, and that a wounded serviceman effectively took more than just themselves out of the fight, their wounded condition requiring assistance/attention by their buddies. Oh..and also that the rounds are so small and light that the average grunt could hump FAR more 5.56 rounds than the old massive .30-06 rounds from the past.

A philosophy that depended upon an enemy with our same values.

Doesn't work so well with the primitive animals we've been engaged with for the last forty years.
