Are you the one who used to ride a 750 Honda, or was it a Sportster?
No, sorry, that wasn't me. TC had a motorcycle that he would ride to work and around town. I was much more a pickup truck/minivan girl.

i agree, I think he is doing the best he can but, it seems that he hasn't made the show "HIS" yet- I'm sure if he had a co-host that we would get to know him better,
t-bone was just funny!
his sense of humor was my kind of humor.

I feel for moon dog though- I think that they were big shoes to fill.

It could have been Kasey Kasem that took over and we all would haved booed it.

Well if he is looking for a partner look no further....here I am

Amazing!

St. Mary's is so primed for a decent radio station! Please, there has to be some venture capitalist out there that can make it so...

The latest merry-go-around that was and is, the local radio stations in a word is; SAD!

I've haven't been blessed with good looks, or a fully functional brain, but...

Question...

Earlier this morning a lady called in to report an accident and they immediately cut her off and went to commercial. When the traffic report came on a few minutes later, there was no mention of it. Why is that?

They're looking for some 10oz buds.

I think, but am not positive, that they've got the commercials set up so that they play at a certain time automatically. We used to do this at Channel 10, which is why you'd occasionally see some program or other commercial cut off abruptly and go to a different commercial.

BUT it's interesting that so many media owners/managers do not understand the concept of content=audience=advertising. They just see the advertising part because that's where the direct dollars are.

I can understand that, but I had hoped to hear where the accident was and if it would have impacted my commute today.

I could write a whole dissertation on lazy automation vs. personal service and how it's turned the media into this faceless, soulless entity.

But I'll spare you.

Peg road, right across from gate 1. Had a roll back there when I came through. :howdy:

It's horrible! Station cue tones are off sometimes! Local equipment hiccups! It's all about timing and when someone isn't watching it 24/7 it could go days w/o even being noticed ... unless ppl call to complain. I'm sure traffic reps have a ball w/ all the "make goods"

Darn I hate that. The traffic reports are really bad. Someone mentioned a scanner, that makes sense. Is there a reason why they could not use a scanner and have live traffic or news updates??

97.7 is starting to aggravate me. It's on an endless loop of the same old songs. :frown: If I have to hear Creed "One" again today I'm going postal, honest I am. :tantrum: And that remake song of Darling Niki is driving me insane as well. :drama:

That is all. :ohwell:
