97.7 is starting to aggravate me. It's on an endless loop of the same old songs. :frown: If I have to hear Creed "One" again today I'm going postal, honest I am. :tantrum: And that remake song of Darling Niki is driving me insane as well. :drama:

That is all. :ohwell:

Do they have a DJ? Have they replaced the moondoggie yet?

Oh did he make it over there and then left???? What's up with all the changes recently? I think I missed all the posts about T-Bone and Heather so I will have to back track....I have no idea why they left in the first place but I liked Moondog....

I was switching stations yesterday during my drive home and caught Yawn & Boner's "forum loser" comments. Boy was it dumb! :lmao: "Yeah, looooosers!" :killingme:

Have to agree that Yawn and Boner are no better than Bird Brain and Heffer were. The local stations should drop all attempts to imply there is any possibility of attracting anyone with a radio personality to SOMD and just play the music.

I listened to them this morning for about five minutes.

Now, I'm not a huge Limbaugh fan. Sometimes, I find him entertaining and insightful, and from time to time, he'll go against the current of conservative pundits and say something different. But I was a little pi$$ed to hear Boomer and Dawn rag on the guy, and the actress who plays "Chloe" on 24 (Mary Kynn Rajskub). Oh they went off on the 20 year age difference of course - which isn't terribly unusual nowadays. They dumped on Rush for being 'fat' which actually, he isn't, anymore, having lost around 110 pounds.

I mean, go ahead and make jokes about the Viagra. That's fair. But dumping on Mary Lynn 'cause she plays a weirdo on "24"? It's called *acting* - Malkovich, Keaton, Spacey and Depp all play weirdos - even though most of them are very nice in real life - because they're good actors. (Although in Depp's case, it might not actually be acting).

And lastly, word up to Boomer and Dawn - a lot of your listening audience likes the guy. I didn't like y'all much before today, but I'm leaving 98.3 off from now on. 'Bye.

:howdy: I think you could hear more intelligent conversations on a middle school playground. :lmao:

:yeahthat: 98.3 is no longer an option until the drive home. Morning radio will not see me listening to them.

I turned it on for a couple of minutes this morning. They were giving away Allman Bros. tickets. They answer the phone and the guy asks "Am I the only one who called in?" Yawn says yes. Guy says "Wow!"

Good job, Yawn and Boner. $90 worth of tickets on a holiday weekend, and you got one whole caller. Since "Radio Gods" is taken, I guess they can be Radio Goobs.

I heard that, too. Reminds me of when Chris Brugman had his little talk show. He was giving away a book to the 22nd caller. Two hours later, he still hadn't even had five callers.
