Thanks for the info. My guess is that the phones will ship in the order that folks ordered them.

I hope they ship the GS3 before Apple has chance to screw it up. Google pulled the Nexus because of the Apple ruling.

Nope. they seem to be shipping randomly. People who ordered last week have gotten confirmations while people who ordered the first day have not.

When you say "confirmations", do you mean that some have gotten confirmations that their phone has actually shipped or do you mean that some have gotten order confirmations that include a "ship by" date?

I noticed the charges showed on my card today so I'm, guessing my shipping confirmation will come in a day or two.

Me too. Not happy that it says 2 day, as Verizon assured me more than once that it would be overnite.

It might still show up in a day. I've had "two day" shipments show up early before.
Meanwhile, VZW pushed the official release date to Thursday.

Probably so they can make sure that most of the preorders are out and activated on the network.
