‘I hesitate to walk my dog’

“Do you feel your life is in danger?” Wallace asked.

“Absolutely, I felt that my life has been in danger since the moment that I won my primary election in 2018. And it became especially intensified when I was first brought into Congress in 2019,” Ocasio-Cortez responded.

Wallace pressed Ocasio-Cortez for more details, asking if that meant she was “looking over [her] shoulder while walking down the street.”

“It means when I wake up in the morning, I hesitate to walk my dog. It means when I come home, I have to ask my fiancée to come out to where my car is to walk me to just from my car to my front door,” Ocasio-Cortez responded.

“It means that there’s just … a general disposition where you kind of feel like there’s almost a static electricity around you. And you’re just always just looking around, your head is just on a swivel, going to a restaurant, walking down the street,” she added.
She means be a right-wing crazy. Not your typical street thug pushing someone off the subway platform.

League Of Legends Player AOC Mocks Crypto Disaster Bro For Being Terrible At Ranked

The cryptocurrency company FTX had bragged that its CEO Sam Bankman-Fried would play League of Legends matches during investor pitch meetings. It turns out that in addition to losing $32 billion in market valuation on his company, he also sucked at League. Bankman-Fried never ranked higher than Bronze II. Dang. Pick a struggle, dude.

I know that I’m not supposed to respect politicians. Governments should be afraid of their people. But come on! Tell me that your gamer heart wasn’t at least a little moved when she tweeted “[Venture capitalists] were impressed by Bronze III?” Gamer toxicity is okay when it’s being directed at cryptocurrency investors. Bronze III is one of the lower rankings on the League ladder. Only 14.75 percent of players rank at Bronze III or lower.

AOC even has the qualifications to tell the world that Bronze III ain’t crap. She last posted about her League ranking on July 13, 2020. “My small quarantine accomplishment: made it to Silver III,” she tweeted. We don’t know what her current rank is, so it’s entirely possible that she’s risen or fallen since then. But at some point in her League career, she ranked higher than Bankman-Fried ever has.

I did see this morning she wants to investigate Ticketmaster over Taylor Swift tickets. Must be a very important matter.

AOC rips Kyrsten Sinema for ditching Dems, making party switch

“Not once in this long soliloquy does Sinema offer a single concrete value or policy she believes in. She lays out no goals for Arizonans, no vision, no commitments,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote in a tweet in response to Sinema’s Twitter announcement that she’s registering as an independent.

“It’s ‘no healthcare, just vibes’ for Senate” the progressive lawmaker added.

“People deserve more. Grateful this race & nomination has opened up,” Ocasio-Cortez’s tweet concluded.

The centrist Sinema has been a member of the Democratic caucus since entering the Senate in 2019. Throughout her tenure, she has helped derail several pieces of legislation backed by the party’s rank-and-file members, including the Biden administration’s $3.5 trillion Build Back Better bill.

“Nothing will change about my values or my behavior,” Sinema insisted in an interview with Politico.

The Arizona Democratic Party ripped Sinema on Friday, accusing her of “leaving Arizonans behind.”

“Senator Sinema may now be registered as an Independent, but she has shown she answers to corporations and billionaires, not Arizonans. Senator Sinema’s party registration means nothing if she continues to not listen to her constituents,” a statement from the state party read.

Security for me, censorship for thee: AOC, Musk tangle over doxing and liberal double standards

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) instigated another Twitter feud with Elon Musk Thursday night, following the platform's suspension of several liberal journalists for posting what the new owner called "assassination coordinates" after they doxed his real-time location.

The journalists in question included CNN's Donie O'Sullivan, The Intercept's Micah Lee, New York Times Tech reporter Ryan Mac, Washington Post reporter Drew Harwell, Mashable's Matt Binder, MSNBC commentator Keith Olbermann and former Vox journalist Aaron Rupar. Each of them was slapped with a 7-day suspension.

Not only did AOC soft-pedal the severity of threats to Musk's security, but she went on to blame Musk for the increased threat level she now faces in her own life.

"As someone who has been subject to real + dangerous plots, I do get it," the self-declared socialist added. "I didn't have security and have experienced many scary incidents. In fact, many of the right-wing outlets you now elevate published photos of my home, car, etc. At a certain point you gotta disconnect."

The SpaceX founder retorted: "You First."

The congresswoman's tweet Monday was in response to the official GOP Twitter page's post stating: "60% of workers report living paycheck to paycheck."

"And yet y’all still voted against raising the minimum wage," she tweeted back.

Twitter users added additional context that was displayed under her post in "Community Notes." The users pointed out that inflation is reducing wages and harming workers of all income levels. They also linked to news articles stating that at least two Democrats opposed raising the minimum wage, which has not increased since 2009.

The Senate voted against raising the minimum wage last year by 58-42, with 7 Democrats and one independent joining Republicans to vote "No" in the split legislative body.

Other users commented criticizing Ocasio-Cortez's tweet.

"Less than 2% of American workers make minimum wage. So, the minimum wage has nothing to do with living paycheck to paycheck," conservative commentator Ross Schumann replied to Ocasio-Cortez's tweet. "Instead, democrat induced inflation is pushing Americans savings down and credit card debt up."

"Raising the minimum wage will cause more inflation," wrote the cryptocurrency advocate who goes by the alias Bow Tied Bull. "When you raise income for the same positions it just raises prices of all basic goods since there was no increase in productivity."

AOC is a charter member of The Squad, which, aside from being full of radical leftist socialist nutbags, is also full of antisemites. Outspoken antisemites. And while AOC’s antisemitism may not be as blatant as, say, Rashida Tlaib’s or Ilhan Omar’s, it’s definitely still there. She’s made plenty of thinly veiled antisemitic remarks. It’s pretty notable that the only Jews she ever has anything nice to say about are the Jews of the IfNotNow, pro-BDS variety. Which is to say, the antisemitic kind.

So it’s pretty disgusting to watch her try to use Jews to not just defend the “right” to abortion, but to argue that abortion is a good thing that is sanctioned by the Jewish faith (it’s important to point out that she does not actually use the word “sacrament”). Judaism is not pro-abortion, and it’s absolutely vile that she’d claim otherwise.

And when people defend the right to life for the unborn, it’s not evidence that we live in a “theocracy”; it’s evidence that the unborn have inherent value as human beings.

AOC compares NYC neighborhood to China with ‘People’s Republic of Astoria’ quip during speech

Brooklyn Councilman Ari Kagan, who grew up in Belarus under Soviet Union rule, ripped AOC and her socialist allies, who he said, “adore failed communist ideas that so many people ran away from.”

“Her statement is an insult not just to Chinese Americans who left the communist People’s Republic for a chance to live in a free Democratic society — but to all Americans,” he said. “The last thing we need here is to recreate the system where government stifles the market economy, exchange of ideas, free press and independent courts.”

Others warned the neighborhood is doomed should socialism take hold.
