Is anyone interested in ephedra these days or is everyone afraid after the scare on tv? If you tried it, I am interested in knowing if it worked for you.

I won't mess w/it.

From my understanding you can't buy anything with ephedra in it. However, way back when I was doing the Hydroxycut thing (which had ephedra in it) it totally worked for me. I dropped weight fast. However, it made my stomach turn and I felt like I had drank 5 pots of coffee. Not to mention as soon as I was off it, I gained every single pound back. Not a good thing if you ask me. My advice...stay far far far away from it.

Wow, that's fantastic. And since at least some of it was from your pregnancy, I wouldn't worry about the quick loss. You probably gained it fast, too. I think it depends on how much you have to lose - how fast it drops off. The last 10 or 15 are always the slowest to go.

Buddy, My daughter says you are skinny so you don't have to worry about carbs. She met you over the summer in Solomons with some other forum-ites. Sorry I did not have the pleasure. At any rate, I would be a proponent of the Adkins diet since I lost 55 lbs basically following the diet. You are right, I have been told that it is not a good idea to stay on it for too long. So i am back to eating bread, pasta, potatoes and I can tell a difference! Life is a beach...

Amen! My boyfriend has flossed in the kitchen in front of my daughter and me. I think that even is a bit too much. Go into the bathroom! I don't want to see that. You are so right that table manners are important. At home is bad enough, in public...you really need to be polite. Isn't that what you would like to see? The restaurant across the street from where I work had an interesting incident. The owner had to throw out a guy who was seemingly pleasuring himself under the tablecloth. Glad I wasn't there at the time!!!!
Wenchy's husband is a 'moe? Actually, that explains a lot.

We went back on Atkins on Monday. We have yet to not cheat a little (too many yummy carbs in the house leftover from Christmas) we may not be keeping TRUE to induction, but we are still keeping it really close.

I've been very strict. Last time I did the big weight dump, it took me two weeks to acheive ketosis. This time only took a week. Of course, I don't weigh as much as last time, so that may have something to do with it occurring sooner.

That's GREAT!

We are having a b-day party for #2 Son on Sunday, so I am hoping that the majority of the candy will be gone when it is over. I plan to have it out and to encourage the other kids to eat all they want.

I threw out bowls of candy when I put the decorations away. Temptation all gone!

Sorry PF but I just don't see why so many are on this diet. You are restraining yourself from a certain type of food your entire life. If you ever get off this diet you may bloom up fairly easy. Your just killing your heart with this.:ohwell:
:lmao:Bwhahaha I was right all along.
