Poor Remax and Lou! I'd be livid. The place is so accessible and has so much traffic, horse related and not. There's just no telling. Though if someone used her saddle it indicates they knew the horse. Remax, I'd get a lock for the tack locker. It would all fit in there or elsewhere under lock and key. If room is an issue check out Lowes. They have a very sturdy large locking storage box. Stash it upstairs under the eaves. Good luck with the re-training.

I'm gonna do a little butting in....on the backing issue.

I'd try a little reverse psychology....if he wants to back, then back him! I have done this on a few horses who were convinced they could only move backwards. After me making them back up (and only back up), they were ready to try moving forward. Seemed to work for me. :shrug: might be worth a try.
