Well thats better than thinking he just didnt want me to ride it. Although now that I think about it, he probably DOESN'T want me to ride it. :lmao: He's selfish with his bikes thata way.
They make a version of the Sporster called the Hugger. It's got all the short stuff alreadt on it.

I think two of the very best bikes to learn on for some one who has NEVER ridden before are the Honda Nighthawk 250 and Kawasaki EX250 depending on your preference for style of bike.

Or even better an 80 or 100cc dirt bike and play in the dirt when it's warm outside.

CSM uses the 205 Nighthawks and Rebels

I forgot about the Rebel. That's three different styles for her to choose from.

Don't let anybody BS you either. Those 250's have plenty of power for daily commuting too. You can find any of the three for under $2K just a few years old or buy one new for under $4k out the door.

Hey Bob, tried the link but I'm getting a "Page cannot be displayed" error. What was it?

That Buel Blast has a great price but they don't seem to have too many good reviews from owners.

BMW F650... comes in three different configurations.. City commuter model, short, stocky clean. A Longer Distance Ride configuration, little taller, little clunklier, then the F650GS Drakar, a dual Sport that is truly a dual sport. VERY tall, very long suspension. At 6'3 was VERY comfortable, but the gearing and high end would be perfect for a beginner.. hard to get it over 75 or 80.

A friend of mine has one he want's to sell. It'l like riding a mini-bike.
There are a lot of the 500-650cc jap cruisers with a low seat height. Go by Atlantic Cycle and try some on for size.

Been Googling. And oh I like the 883 Hugger. :yay: Now I just need a pink one to go with my pink helmet.
If you decide to get one, get EXACTLY what you want from the dealer. They're all custom ordered, the ones in the showroom were just custom ordered by the dealer.

Does the 883 hugger have the new rubber engine mounts like the 1200? I understand they're actually rideable now

I have no idea about the rubber thingies. The old man could tell you.

I have discovered though, that there will be a pink and black sportster gas tank and matching helmet in the summer collection. :lmao:
