I have liked almost all burgers i have met, some are better than others, just don't like onions or pickles. Favorite is on the grill, with bacon, mushroom and cheddar cheese, but swiss or provolone work also, throw in some home made french fries and a cold beer, and i am a happy camper.

I liked the greesy burgers made @ Pats (in the day??) they were just the right thing to cure a hangover!! remember Pats?

Oh man, I forgot about that. They were fabulous for alcohol absorption as well. The perfect bar burger.

I read "greasy burgers at Pat's" and immediately got an olfactory total recall.

Actually when i worked at Pax i was a regular at The Happy Hamburger used to be on 235 good burgers and other menu items and actually had a liquor license to sell beer. Got to know the owners well, and they lived in North Beach Cal. Co.

I don't get the whole infatuation with 5 guys  I've tried them 3 times now and was less than impressed. To me, Wendy's is even better than 5 guys...Wendys bacon pretzel burger is the bomb :buddies:

Ugh... :barf:

The bag alone is a turn off with those fries...it's sopping wet with grease to the point it's tearing. No way :nono:

granted they are not as crispy as I prefer for shoe string FF ..
.... but they reheat great ....

I supposed you don't like greasy burgers either .... Communist

Juicy burger :nono: NOT greasy burger. Although, I can't remember the last burger I had, it must have been over the summer on the grill.

I'm going to turn into a turkey, I eat it every day...

The best burger I ever ate came from a restaurant in DC called The Fatten Calf way back in the 80's. It was near 18th & L street if memory serves me right.

PS - my second best burger (in life) would be Foster's Grill in Waldorf. It doesn't hurt that I LOVE LOVE LOVE their fries too .

I have not tried that yet at RR in Waldorf (had one many years ago in Silver Spring and loved it). A friend tried a RR burger and said their burgers had no flavor. Hmm.
