But Christmas is a made up religous holiday, Christ wasn't even born anywhere near December.. Closer to April..
Yeah - but that totally clashes with Easter, so they rearranged it.

Only you could say that, my friend I guess cars were around long before their inventor?
Lighten up, it was a joke.or false, if you're sane ....
How much money did they make 1500 years ago on the commercialization of Christmas? Can't make enough money if the holidays come too close together.

Everything else is just smoke and mirrors from hell.
If someone had a "concept"... doesn't make it a believer's concept. This is the same foolish argument about halloween. People say it was a pagan holiday to worship demons and such... ok... is that what you do???? Those who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior celebrate the birth, ministry, and resurrection of Jesus Christ - who cares what the world wants it to be or call it or even what they "once called it"?(even though the concept was around before christians and hell)
but don't let that fact get in the way!
Ever read the Bible? You know, I've never really thought about it, but why don't we know anything about Jesus?
I mean, if he had followers around him for years hanging on his every word, then shouldn't we know things like when he was born?
Ever read the Bible?
Ever read history books? His birth is told in both places, and the dating is able to be determined within 3 - 4 years of accuracy. I think history even shows this by using BC and AD (at least before the politically correct revisionist started teaching).
Their excuses were non-believing men and women like you that even what they said is discounted because they "followed" him.meh.
If I had been following the son of god I could date his birthday to the hour.
What were his followers excuses?

Can't have it both ways... they documented much about Him that you have dismissed, why desire to know His birthdate from them? So you can dismiss this too?
we do... it is a great thing.all I'm saying is that if I was following the son of god for (x) years, I'd get to know him.
The concept of celebrating the birth of the Christ-child was around before Christians?even though the concept was around before christians and hell
but don't let that fact get in the way!

Okay, you meant the concept of a celebration. Sure, no one disputes people celebrated before Christ. Winter, summer, spring, and fall. The timing had already been agreed to as immaterial, I thought you were going with the concept of Christmas, not the concept of a winter celebration..... the celebration held around the winter solstice ....
More than likely they knew all of that. When writing a book like the Bible, though, it's not like a Kitty Kelly autobiography. It's a little more serious than that. It doesn't tell-all that you want to know, it's a tell-all of what you NEED to know.I meant like .... "so Jesus, whens your birthday? We know you like bread and fish, so me and Paul were going to go in from William and Sonoma or something .... "
Or "Hey Lamb of Hosts, whats your favorite color? Your robe looks like it needs some patching so we figured maybe a new one .... you're an 'L' right?"
etc. etc.
