... in my opinion, the demise of our society began when foreigners started coming here in droves (be it via slavery, illegals from Mexico/Cuba, middle easterners, etc.). We opened our arms (borders) to every one who wanted to come, then adapted our beliefs of what America would be to what those who DIDN'T fight for it wanted. Now, we have this politically-correct land of softies who are too scared to make a stand for what this country was founded upon, and bow down for fear of some illegal alien suing for violating their beliefs when asked to take the towel off their head for their driver's license picture.
And we have to drag out victims' families emotional turmoil and suffering because the person who violently murdered their loved one doesn't have to sit in 'ol sparky anymore simply because "too many blacks are on death row". And taxpayers are having to foot the bill while millions of pregnant Mexicans are coming to our hospitals to birth their babies to gain citizenship, then "accidentally" forgetting to pay the bill for that delivery.
This is OUR country, and if you want to come here, fine -- dandy. But by God, you should adapt to OUR way of life (not vice versa), or get cozy with the one you have in your own country.
Truthfully -- no, I do NOT think our country is "better off" following the integration of other ethnicities. Had those people coming in been told up front that they need to adapt to our culture, our way of life, LEARN ENGLISH, etc. vs the softies caving in to appease them, we might have stood a chance. As it is, I'm scared for my daughter's generation and her children's generations. It's not a black/white/hispanic/asian thing. I don't care what color someone's skin is; it's an attitude thing. And when you bring your foreign attitude to this country and act like an ass, you deserve to get spit on and booted out.

Well those are criminal actions by a few criminals and not a reflection of the entire black population.
The African slavery in America was a huge act of racial prejudice supported by the vast majority of whites against the Africans, and any of the few whites that might have opposed the immorality at those times still profited from the abuse and so have all the white ancesters thereafter.
So you are not making a true comparison at all.
and every white person is not responsible for Africans selling each other into Slavery ......
and where is the demand for Muslims in Sudan to quit enslaving Blacks .... and apologize ....

No, it is "black history" and not "African American History" because many blacks included in that history were not Americans.
Like the slaves were Africans immorally brought to the USA from their homeland.
So those black people were African and not African American.

Are you aware that some black people are not African? I work with two people born and raised in the Caribbean, both of whom are definitely black. But they both have moved to the States within the past few years. When delivering my apologies, should I apologize to them also?
Why don't you walk up to a black Jamaican, ask them about their "African" history, then report back to us on their response. (You will be allowed time to allow the bruising to heal first, if you wish.)

So to be more precise then they could be called: "African Caribbean" and "African Jamacan" just as your white self could be called "European American" since the whites are not native American.

No one was created nor evolved in North America. There is NO Native American. We're all transplants from somewhere else. Pretty much all from the same place, whether you believe in creation or evolution.
