Actually Bob would have watched Norm do it.
True ... Norm's a hottie too! Does he still have his own show now up in New England (at least, that's where it was set) where he makes all kinds of furniture and crap? I used to watch that when I'd wake up early on weekends.

New Yankee workshop :yay: what they don't show is the 30,000 square foot storage shed full of tools hidden out back.

He has a tool for everything

Pete, I'm impressed with your grouting skills.
Grout is easy, just a mess. Unfortunatly I goofed up and mixed way too much so I made a grout bust of Boy. :yay: It almost looks lifelike.

Well, the bust of Boy I made with the leftover grout did not come out too well. Have to try again later.

Now ya know, if I come over and you're making furniture, I'm gonna have to play with the wood, too. :really: I have a few pieces I've refinished (two dressers, coffee table, and a few night stands) and I really enjoy it ... it's a great project/hobby to have to work off stress. :yay:

145 sq ft. is a nice warmup. I tiled the floor in the basment in the old house. 300 sq. ft. A 1 sq. ft. section took as long as the 240 sq. ft. family room. Lots of intricate cuts. Ifn ya had told me you were doing it, I woulda come help.
Debating whether to tile, wood or carpet the floor in the basment when I do it. If I tile it, I am going with larger tiles and smaller grout lines. Used 8x8 tiles w/ .24" grout lines in the old house (see if I ever follow the suggestions of the "experts" again ).
